team.blue bridges AI tools with business software for SMEs

team.blue has introduced a suite of AI connectors designed to help small and medium-sized businesses connect with leading AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. These tools integrate seamlessly with social media platforms, eCommerce systems, booking software, compliance applications, and website builders. The integration allows users to manage data within AI interfaces without needing to switch between different applications.
The initiative directly addresses a significant challenge faced by European businesses: disjointed software ecosystems. According to a 2026 study conducted by team.blue, only 25.1% of businesses report that their tools are fully or mostly integrated, while nearly 30% describe their systems as mostly or completely disconnected. The new connectors seek to eliminate this fragmentation by embedding AI assistants directly into existing workflows.
Bilal Ahmed, Chief AI & Data Officer at team.blue, emphasized the importance of control in the design of these connectors. As he stated, “Customers trust our brands with their bookings, their campaign and social media data and their compliance records, so the first question they ask about AI is who stays in control.” The connectors are built with this concern in mind, ensuring that while AI assistants can be useful with real business data, the final decision always rests with the user.
The connectors operate using MCP, or Model Context Protocol, an open standard that enables AI tools to interact with business software while enforcing strict access controls. Users must explicitly approve each action, and AI assistants can only execute tasks already permitted within the original platform’s permissions.
AI-Powered Social Media and Influencer Tools
The connector allows users to review scheduled posts, analyze performance metrics, and generate content directly from the chat interface. Flows automates lead conversion by triggering responses to comments or messages—such as sending product links when specific keywords appear on Instagram—and supports moderation on TikTok as well as reposting functionality on X.
Kolsquare, a specialist in influencer marketing, has launched an MCP-compatible tool that links campaign and creator data to AI assistants. Users can request summaries of campaigns, audience demographics, or engagement metrics, pulling information from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This marks the first product from the Kolsquare Innovation Lab, established following the acquisition of Storyclash earlier this year.
Shoptet, the group’s Czech-based eCommerce platform, has deployed its own MCP integration, connecting AI assistants to store administration panels. Merchants can query details about unpaid orders, inventory levels, or product descriptions, and perform actions like updating order statuses or creating promotional codes, all while the assistant operates within predefined permissions. Access is managed through OAuth, ensuring credentials never reach the AI system.
SimplyBook.me has introduced a booking-focused connector, enabling owners to manage schedules, identify available time slots, or book clients through AI interactions. The tool can also detect unpaid balances or add new services, with every action requiring explicit user approval. Existing bookings and settings remain secure even if access is later revoked.
Compliance and Website Automation via AI
Iubenda, a provider of privacy compliance solutions, has released a connector that allows users to scan websites for tracking technologies, generate cookie policies, and configure consent banners, all within an AI-driven conversation. Each action is confirmed before execution, and the tool is accessible across all subscription tiers, including free accounts.
Since its launch in September, the tool has facilitated the creation of over 10,000 websites and apps, with domains and databases automatically configured. The platform now integrates with Iubenda, allowing users to request cookie consent banners during the same conversation where they design their site.
The connectors now support 13 of team.blue’s hosting brands, ensuring seamless AI integration without requiring users to adopt entirely new systems. Every tool adheres to the same security framework: AI assistants interact with live data but cannot alter systems without explicit user consent.
