7-Eleven’s delivery service, 7Now, is experiencing significant growth as the company expands its reach across North America. The retailer first introduced delivery at select Dallas locations in 2017 and has since grown the service to encompass a substantial portion of its store network. In the first half of fiscal year 2026, 7Now achieved $550 million in gross sales, representing a 15.6% year-over-year increase. This growth trajectory highlights the program’s increasing contribution to 7-Eleven’s business.

Sales Growth and Targets

According to Seven & i Holdings’ CFO, Tetsuya Takagi, “7Now is one of SEI’s most powerful growth businesses, utilizing its store network as a foundation.” Despite falling short of its $1 billion annual sales target in 2025, reaching $979 million, the company is right on track to hit its target of $1.1 billion for the current fiscal year. The momentum in delivery sales reflects the consumer demand for convenient food and merchandise access.

However, same-store 7Now sales growth slowed to 9.9% year-over-year in the first half of 2026, down from a more than 21% increase in the same period the previous year. This deceleration contrasts with other metrics, such as same-store fresh food sales, which declined by 0.3% and merchandise sales, which remained flat. The added costs associated with delivery operations may be contributing to the slowdown in growth for the service.

Store Expansion and Foodservice Improvements

As of the end of the first half of 2026, 7,594 stores, or approximately 60% of 7-Eleven’s North American locations, offer 7Now delivery. The company plans to expand this network to 8,500 stores by fiscal year 2030. To support this growth, 7-Eleven is enhancing its foodservice offerings, including improving existing items like boneless wings and introducing new hot sandwiches. Additionally, the retailer is opening more proprietary QSRs (quick-service restaurants) within stores and offering exclusive value deals through 7Now to attract customers. While these moves aren’t guaranteed to boost delivery dollars, they certainly help make the program more appealing to customers.
